Washington Accord accreditation enables global recognition of degrees of the University and increased mobility of its graduates to 17 countries, including USA, UK, Australia, Canada and Japan. KIIT Deemed to be University is among only six institutions in the country to have this accreditation. KIIT also has one industrial training institute, a polytechnic, and an international school having affiliations with IGCSE-England, International Baccalaureate Programme (IBP), and CBSE India - the only one of its kind in the whole of the Eastern India.

KIIT emphasizes on its library systems and services that support the all round academic and research requirement. The University has set up a huge central library along with 16 fully fledged school libraries. The Central Library plays an integral role in supporting academic programmes of the University. It monitors and guides the school libraries running across different schools of the university in 24x7 hours mode under the umbrella of Central Library. It identifies, evaluates, procures, processes and then makes the key learning resources available to the faculty and students for their teaching, learning and research assignments. It further guides school libraries in developing their respective collections as well as services. The University library resources comprises excellent collections of books, reports, journals, electronic resources, institutional repository and items in all conceivable areas to encourage interdisciplinary and value added research. The library has over the years built a robust collection of over 9,51,630 books, 1275 bound volumes, 585 current subscription to print journals, magazines, newspapers, and many other resources. The Central Library offers its users the convenient access to the best of Engineering, Business and Management, Law, Biotechnology, Medical Science related digital resources through its subscription to 45 e-databases and more than 28,000+ e-journals consisting of scholarly contents round the clock all across the campus via Wi-Fi network.
